Chehlum Program

Anjuman Haidary organizes the Chehlum program for the Martyrs of Karbala on 20th Safar. The procession begins at Imambargah Phukta Bangla, passes through the streets of Naugawan, and concludes at Karbala.
First Stop (Imambargah Syed Noor): A depiction of Zindan-e-Sham (the Dungeon of Shaam) is presented.
Second Stop (Mohalla Hafta Bazar): A depiction of the Battlefield of Karbala is presented, portraying the arrival of Jabir ibn Abdullah Ansari—the first pilgrim of Imam Hussain—to visit the sacred grave.
Final Stop (Karbala Naugawan): A depiction of Madina Munawwara is presented, capturing the moment the devastated caravan of the Prophet's family finally returns to Medina.
